Meet Dr. Daniel Travelle, DDS

Welcome to Travelle Family Dentistry! My name is Daniel Travelle, DDS and let me be the first to thank you for choosing our office for your family's comprehensive dental needs. I am excited to have the opportunity to be your dentist and I promise you will feel at ease with us.

My philosophy with regards to dentistry is straightforward and simple. I practice minimally invasive biomimetic dentistry. Minimally invasive means that I want to do the least amount of treatment necessary in order to restore a tooth or a patient's entire mouth into proper function. Biomimetic means that I try to use the materials and techniques that mimic the natural function of your teeth. I strongly believe in, and focus my treatment around preventive dentistry. I do this because I care as much about the beauty of your smile as I do about the health of your mouth. I look forward to working with you and sharing with you the excitement and the rewards of having the beautiful, healthy smile that you deserve!

I am fortunate to wake up every morning and be thrilled to go to work. I truly love dentistry, and am I committed to providing you and your family with the very best dentistry has to offer. For me to do this, it is imperative that l expand my knowledge by continuing my education. With over 500 hours of continuing education under my belt, I am striving to achieve my Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in the very near future.
I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle-King County Dental Society, the Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. I spend time year with philanthropic organizations volunteering my time to better the lives of those in need. Please feel free to ask me about some of my wonderful experiences volunteering with underserved communities.

Outside of the office I am happily married to my wife Katie, who you will see around the office! My passions include hiking, skiing, scuba diving, cooking, and photography. As a new Washingtonian, I am learning that this is Husky territory and I must keep my affiliations to Arizona State and USC very hush-hush! However, I am quickly learning to love rooting for the Huskies and all Seattle sports teams.

Give us a call today at 206-242-1500 and speak with any of our friendly and professional staff or simply stop by and say hello. We'd be pleased to give you a tour of our beautiful modern office!

Meet Dr. Katie McKay Travelle

Hello, I am Dr. Katie McKay Travelle. Welcome to Travelle Family Dentistry. I am so excited to be joining this community and to have the opportunity to bring exceptional and compassionate dentistry to you and your family. I come from a family of dentists, and for me, dental visits were always pleasant and comfortable. My goal is to help my patients feel as positive about their dental care as I do. I bring a lifelong love of dentistry, a dedication to personalized care, and advanced continuing education in general dentistry to our practice.  Establishing a dental practice with a warm, personalized, and caring atmosphere for each patient is what I strive for. I love the one to one relationship that I have with my patients as we discuss a treatment plan that will provide them with the best possible dental care for a healthy mouth.

I am a Seattle native, growing up in Magnolia and attending Holy Names Academy. I received my Bachelors in Science degree from St. Mary’s College of California, and received my D.D.S. degree from Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska.

When I am not practicing dentistry, I enjoy travelling with my husband, competing in half-marathons, cooking, skiing and spending time with my large extended family.
